It’s been a long year for the Waukegan Yacht Club. We were closed for most of 2020, missing most of our activities and major events. As vaccines roll out hopes are high that we can finally put this pandemic behind us. On April 23, WYC is planning on rolling out our first major event for 2021 with a traditional Friday fish fry!
Come check out all the changes at the club! The Social, Sail and Cruise Committees have been meeting and putting together a full calendar of events and activities. You may have already participated in our RC Boat Build and Racing or our 2nd Annual Trap Shoot!
Come join us on April 23rd to open the club for a new year! The dinner is open to all members, guests and boaters in and around Waukegan! Please select and reserve your entree and seating time now! You can choose between Cod, Perch, Salmon or a large dinner salad, with or without chicken. We will have seatings for 6pm, 7pm and 8pm or order your food to go!
2021 WYC Fish Fry Entree Options
Deep Fried Cod
A half pound of cod deep fried to a golden brown, crispy outside and tender and moist inside. It is a favorite option for any fish fry. The Cod comes with a generous portion of french fries and coleslaw. Tartar sauce and lemon served on the side.
Deep Fried Perch
A half pound of perch deep fried to a golden brown, crispy outside and tender and moist inside. It is a favorite option for any fish fry. The perch comes with a generous portion of french fries and coleslaw. Tartar sauce and lemon served on the side.
Salmon Dinner (premium option)
A half pound of Atlantic Salmon grilled skin down until crisp then broiled to perfection. Served with a mixed vegetable medley and couscous. A tasty lemon dill sauce is served on the side.
Large Garden Salad or Side Salad
A large garden salad of mixed greens, grape tomatoes, and seasonal vegetables. Choice of dress:
