WYC Racing Fees

sailboat race starting line

WYC organizes three basic racing series: Summer, Offshore and Fall. We also have two special races, the Chicago-Waukegan and Milwaukegan, which have their own separate racing fee and awards. You can participate in any or all of the series. Only competitors who pay the racing fee for that series will be considered for trophies or flags.

All competitors must also pay the Sail Asset Replacement Fund (SARF) fee to help maintain the WYC Committee boat. If you participate in any series you should pay the full $40 SARF fee. You only need to pay this once per year. If you only want to participate in one race in any series there is a $10 per race SARF fee up to a maximum of $40 per year.
